Recently a family member gave me the idea of informational cards to keep in their wallets or purses for emergencies. I grabbed a stack of black metal business cards off of Amazon and started to have a play around with them on my Beambox Pro.
The first attempt I did in one pass at 60% power, but the engraving came out all warped. I feel like the metal or powdercoat overheated causing the image to go all funky and weird.
The second attempt I halved the power and did two passes and ended up with a pristine result after a quick wash under some cold water. The photo is a bit blurry, but you get the idea.
